Professor Maurits van Rooijen is Chief Executive for Academic Affairs at Global University Systems (GUS). He is also the President of the University of Europe for Applied Sciences, Germany and Dubai.
Before the launch of GUS, he was CEO/Rector Magnificus of Nyenrode University, in the Netherlands, and prior to that he held senior roles at University of Westminster, London, Victoria University Melbourne, VP (International) and Leiden University in the Netherlands. He also held positions at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and his Alma Mater, Utrecht University.
He has also held leadership positions with international organisations such as including the World Association for Cooperative and Experiential Education and, the Compostela Group of Universities
