Course Overview
This programme aligns HR management with business strategy. If you want to make a real impact on your organisation, this practical and interactive programme will help you make more effective decisions through the application of HR management.
You will gain insight into HR processes and their complexities. You will also gain a firm understanding of the key operational areas within HRM, including recruitment and selection, grievance procedures, training and development processes, employee benefits/wellbeing, and how to support employee motivation and engagement. This is a people/human-focused human resource management training programme that will delve into individual and group behaviour, teams and managing team development, motivation, leadership, and employee relations (culture, arbitration, and negotiation).
By the end of the HR course, you’ll be confident in your ability to explain the importance of HR management and use your knowledge to sustain business success within an organisation. You will have key techniques under your belt to allow you to support strategic HRM decision-making processes for both online and in-person HRM activities.
Assessment
The Diploma in HR will be assessed through a project (continuous assessment), which may include assessing one’s own organisation’s application of human resource policy to a typical business challenge (through a case study).
What is a Professional Diploma?
An IBAT Professional Diploma is a focused, short-duration practical course that consolidates, upskills and/or reskills learners in a professional area. It is a stand-alone qualification that does not lead to an award on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).

A Digital Certificate will be issued upon successful completion of an in-class exam for each of the two modules, in addition, you will also receive a Digital Badge.

A micro-credential is a compact credential that verifies the achievement of a skill or knowledge gained. A Digital Badge is a visual representation of having earned a micro-credential which can be shared on various online platforms to showcase the earner’s achievement.
Why have a Digital Badge?
Your Digital Badge and Certificate can be shared on social media channels such as LinkedIn and Facebook. Digital Badges can also be added to email signatures, displayed on resumes or added to recognised achievement platforms such as Badgr, Credly and OpenBadges.
