The Master of Arts in User Experience Design and Applied Innovation is delivered within the Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Quality Assurance and Enhancement framework and awarded by ATU. IBAT Dublin is responsible for day-to-day operations under ATU’s Quality Assurance oversight, including applicant queries/processing, student support and finance-related queries.

The programme aims to develop expert-level understanding of UX and innovation, connecting design thinking with emerging technologies. It prepares students to lead user-focused projects that drive meaningful digital experiences and innovation in business contexts.

Entry Requirements 


Academic Requirements:

A recognised Level 8 qualification (honours degree) or equivalent.

Admission is based solely on academic qualifications and English language proficiency. Professional or experiential learning cannot be considered for this programme.

And English Language Proficiency:
With one of the following:

Exemptions:

You may be exempt if you’ve completed a degree in Ireland, the UK or USA within the last 2–3 years or have successfully completed specific courses at IBAT English Language School.
